Yes, it is. I never did search engine comparisons, because I know that there’s so much complexity involved. But today, just for my curiosity, I searched “Claudio Cicali” (actually, my name) in MSN. The first three results (just for the record) are completely useless and very old: a comment in MySQL manual dated 2002, the page of an old project where I was involved into and I don’t attend anymore (the page itself DOES NOT even belong to the actual project site!) and finally the link (with my name) to a very old collection of bookmarks.

The first relevant hit (to me) is the 12th !

I then ran the same query in google. Results were nearly perfect, from my point of view: these blog entries, claudiocicali.net and flexer.it. If you ask me to give you some links regarding myself, I’ll give you the same ones.

So, let me repeat for ranking: MSN search is crappy and useless.
